Current Status & Activity

Update - January 24, 2012

On January 19, 2012, a letter was mailed to affected homeowners notifying them about the temporary rerouting of trucks from the Steeples drill site due to City road construction on Bowman Springs.  For your information, we've posted that letter here.  The letter was mailed only to those along the new temporary truck route.

LETTER TO RESIDENTS:

January 19, 2012

Dear Neighbor:

As you may know, the City of Arlington plans to begin road construction on Bowman Springs Rd., North from I-20 in the near future.  In anticipation of the temporary street closure, we have worked with the City of Arlington on a temporary alteration to our truck route in and out of our Steeples drill site, located at 7102 Bowman Springs Rd., Arlington.

This letter is to notify you of our intended truck route changes that will be effective on or about February 1, 2012, lasting for approximately 1 month.

Beginning on or about February 1, 2012, trucks going to and from this drill site will use a route from the site going North on Shorewood Drive, East to Bowman Springs, and South on Poly Webb Rd.  The only trucks we are authorized to use during this time are our smaller "bobtail" trucks, which should be less intrusive than the typical water trucks you may have seen.

We are very grateful to the City of Arlington for allowing us to use an alternate route, as this will allow us to continue our operations and allow uninterrupted drilling work needed to assure the most timely payment of royalties to our lessors.

The new temporary hours of operation for our trucks during this road construction process will be Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 3:00pm, which will create the least impact on neighbors using these routes.  If you have any questions, please contact Vantage Energy Community Relations at 888-225-8141 or email communityrelations@lakearlingtongas.org.

Update - June 26, 2011
Four wells have been drilled and frac'd from this pad site. First sales from the Steeples site occurred April 11th.  We anticipate lessors in this development area may see royalties from these wells by the end of Summer 2011. It is important to note that royalties are paid monthly, and are only paid when the total royalty amount reaches a minimum of $100. Therefore, there may be months when no royalty check will be received. We will add each months' royalties together until $100 is reached, and then a check will be sent.
